NON – PROFIT ORGANIZATION’S (NPO’s) SYMPOSIUM 2016: BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE

BANGI – Non – Profit Organization’s (NPO’s) Symposium 2016: By The People, For The People organized by Legal Affairs Division, Prime Minister’s Department (BHEUU, JPM) was held on Thursday, March 17th, 2016 at Islamic Training Institute of Malaysia (ILIM). The symposium was officiated by YB Puan Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department. Also present during the ceremony were YBhg. Datuk Mohd Zuki bin Ali, Director General of BHEUU, JPM and Puan Hajah Zawanah Mohamed, Director of ILIM. The first time organized event attracted 218 attendees whom representing their registered foundation under Trustees (Incorporation) Act 1952 [Act 258] as well as the representatives from various ministries/departments/ agencies/universities.

MONTHLY GATHERING BHEUU BIL.4/2016

Putrajaya, 6 April – YBhg. Datuk Haini binti Hassan, The Director General of The Legal Aid Department urged all citizens of BHEUU, JBG and MDI to adopt green technologies at home and office. Green technologies help to preserve the earth from the dangers of global warming.

She said among the steps that can be done is to reduce waste, sorting waste, reducing air pollution, prevent energy waste and reduce the consumption of disposable items.

She also said the electricity saving can be done by switching off the lights in areas that are not in use, switching off the computer if it is not used, the use of natural lighting, switch off the lights when leaving a room and recycling.
She said the practice of energy saving can be done by carpooling to the office, the use of environmentally friendly products, bring water bottles and food containers.
She was speaking at the monthly assembly here today at BHEUU.

WORKSHOP ON WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION ACT 2010 [ACT 711] NO.1 YEAR 2016 ON 29 MARCH 2016 (TUESDAY)

SELANGOR, MARCH 29, 2016 – A Workshop on Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 [Act 711] was held on March 29, 2016 (Tuesday) at Judicial and Legal Training Institute, Bangi, Selangor. The main objective of the workshop was to introduce Act 711 and to insert awareness amongst the government officials, whom has been nominated by their respective ministry/department/agency as the Pegawai Penerima Maklumat, of the importance of this Act as well as preparing them with initial information towards implementing it. The workshop was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Mohd Zuki bin Ali, Director General of the Legal Affairs Division, Prime Minister’s Department, with participation of seventy two (72) officials from various ministry/department/agency.

MONTHLY ASSEMBLY OF LEGAL AFFAIRS DIVISION (BHEUU) NO.2 / 2016

Putrajaya, February 16 – YBhg. Datuk Mohd Zuki bin Ali, Director General of Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) said that integrity, intelligence and energy are the important qualities of an employee. Thus all officers and staff of BHEUU, MDI and JBG are reminded not to leave office freely during work hours in order to uphold the integrity of the public service.

YBhg. Datuk Mohd Zuki bin Ali also reminded all officers and staff on the economic challenges at present due to global economic conditions, low crude oil prices and the impact of China's national economy. As such, he called on all officers and staff of BHEUU, MDI and JBG to optimize expenditure. He also reminded on the need to ensuring every ringgit spent could bring immense results and impact.

He said every employee has to adapt to the current economic scenario. He hoped that all employees are able to live a frugal life, whether at home or in office.

He said this during Monthly Assembly of BHEUU here today.

MONTHLY ASSEMBLY OF LEGAL AFFAIRS DIVISION (BHEUU) MARCH 2016

Putrajaya, March 10 – YBrs. Puan Haslina Mansor, Director General of Malaysia Department of Insolvency said that all officers and staff of BHEUU, MdI AND JBG need to spend wisely in their daily activities in line with the governments’ call to optimize expenses. She suggested that any wastage should be avoided.

She reminded that prudent spending should also be made to yourself and to your family to prevent all officers and staff of BHEUU, MdI AND JBG become bankrupt. Their expenses incurred should not exceed income.

She recommended a monthly income distribution is made; 10% saving, 70% daily expenses, 10% of long term expenses, 5% emergency fund, 5% for tax and zakat. She added that savings for utility usage can be managed by each individually.

She said this during Monthly Assembly of BHEUU here today.
