PUBLIC SECTOR CONDUCIVE ECOSYSTEM (EKSA)’S COURSE AT LEGAL AFFAIRS DIVISION LEVEL

PUTRAJAYA 5 May – A two days course for the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) has been held at Legal Affairs Division level which started on 4th May 2017 was a huge success. YBrs. Tuan Harun bin Jantan, from the GST department, Head Office of Royal Malaysian Customs Department was invited to give his speech and to motivate during the course.

Also, this course was participated by (42) participants that were mostly from the training committee, the audit committee, the promotions committee and the head sectors that have been assigned.

The objective of this course is to expose all the participants and to instill the good traits in mastering and improving their effectiveness in working and hence will also help in boosting up the Legal Affairs Division on how organising, planning and reporting the results of EKSA.

All in all, Legal Affairs Division really hope to receive a certification of Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) by Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) within this year due to the values received from this course.

MONTHLY GATHERING BHEUU BIL.4 /2017

Putrajaya, 13 April – The BHEUU’s Director General, Datuk Jalil bin Marzuki invite all employees to do a transformation in carrying out its duties and responsibilities. He said to achieve a success or goal, we must implement a way different from the norm.

He quoted the words of wisdom of Albert Einstein; "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". He also said Usain Bolt, Olympic sprinter said he did the hard work continuously to be the fastest sprinter in the world.

He said Usain Bolt realize that talent alone is not enough for him to win a championship, if he just rely on talent, he will be left behind compared to its competitors. Realizing this, Usain Bolt does his training with dedication and discipline for 9 to 10 months each year.

He said Jack Ma, representing the world’s largest e-commerce company said failure is not a stumbling block to success but it is an exercise to analyze and rectify weaknesses and not to be demoralized while in difficult times. He said the story of Jack Ma is the story 'From Rags to Riches'.

BHEUU Monthly Assembly No.3/2017

Putrajaya, 14 Mac – YBhg. Datuk Haini binti Hassan, Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Bantuan Guaman mengingatkan semua warga kerja BHEUU, MdI dan JBG supaya berhati-hati menggunakan kemudahan media sosial. Ini kerana berjuta-juta orang menggunakan media sosial pada masa kini iaitu melalui Facebook, Twitter dan lain-lain. Ini kerana dibimbangi warga kerja BHEUU, MdI dan JBG turut terheret dalam penyebaran berita palsu dan fitnah.

Beliau berkata semua warga kerja perlu menggunakan media sosial secara berhemah. Kedudukan sebagai penjawat awam memerlukan ketaatan kepada Kerajaan masa kini (government of the day). Tambahan pula dari segi imej Kerajaan, penjawat awam tidak boleh memperlekehkan apa yang dilakukan oleh Kerajaan.

Beliau berkata, sekiranya tidak sependapat dengan Kerajaan, penjawat awam boleh memberi cadangan melalui saluran yang betul. Beliau menambah setiap penjawat awam bertanggungjawab dan perlu amanah dalam menjaga imej Kerajaan.

“Perbuatan menularkan imej-imej tertentu dibimbangi boleh mengancam keselamatan Negara,” tambah beliau. Beliau mengingatkan semua warga kerja BHEUU, MdI dan JBG bahawa jika didapati bersalah menularkan imej-imej yang boleh menggugat keselamatan Negara, tindakan tatatertib boleh dikenakan ke atas sesiapa yang menularkan imej-imej palsu atau fitnah.

Beliau berkata demikian semasa Perhimpunan Bulanan BHEUU di sini hari ini.

MONTHLY GATHERING BHEUU BIL.2 / 2017

Putrajaya, February 14 – Recently, the country has been rocked with the news of high-profile corruption cases involving a number of public servants, said YBhg. Datuk Abdul Rahman bin Dato 'Haji Taha, Director General of Insolvency (MdI). Nevertheless, this involves only a small number of public servants. Thus, all employees of BHEUU, MDI and JBG are advised to continue performing their duty with honesty and integrity.

He emphasized that all employees should focus on providing quality services to the public. This means that all projects and programs must reach its target audience and have a value added impact.

He added that customer satisfaction is very important. Customer satisfaction is an indicator of a good and a quality service delivery. If customers are satisfied, it will have a good impact on the employee’s morale because lesser complaints and dissatisfaction.

He said this during a monthly assembly BHEUU for the month of February today.

2017 NEW YEAR MESSAGE BY YB DATO' SRI AZALINA OTHMAN SAID

Putrajaya, January 17 – YB Dato' Sri Azalina Othman Said reminded civil servants, especially employees of BHEUU, MdI and JBG to be careful when expressing a message in social media. Being cautious can save a lot of situations.

According to YB Dato' Sri Azalina, civil servants should portray a high level of professionalism as they represent the Government of today. This is to avoid any act of defamation, even if the message was a joke.

"If you have your own views, keep it to your heart. It is your opinion and Malaysia is a democratic country".

She reminded the employees not to assume that their actions are unwatched.

She said this in her 2017 New Year Message here today.
