Briefing on "Migration and training Email 1GovUC"

Putrajaya, 12 Mac 2015- Briefing on ' Migration and training Email 1GovUC ' were presented by Tuan Haji Mohd Puad Zainal Abidin and Mr. Firdaus Mat Nayan from MAMPU.

The purpose of 1GovUC is to increase communication and collaboration services integrated public sector managed centralized on MAMPU through the merger of various methods of communication such as voice, e-mail, instant messaging, audio/video conferencing, SMS and fax. The implementation of 1GovUC must be comprehensive to all ministries, the Office of the Chief Secretary and National Audit Department.

The rationale for implementation of 1GovUC is as follows:

provides integrated communications services on an ongoing basis
ensure the protection of Government information security
establish governance and management of unified communications service more efficient and effective
optimize ICT resources

BHEUU citizens are also reminded to ensure delivery of email using the email account and all official business was prohibited from using private email address such as yahoo.com, gmail.com, streamyx.com.my etc.

It is estimated that a total of 120 officers and staff of BHEUU attended the talk.
