PENJELASAN PENSIJILAN SATU BINTANG PIAWAIAN EMAS

1. The One Star – Gold Standard for energy management is a recognition from ASEAN Energy Manager Accreditation Scheme (AEMAS).

2. The evaluation for this recognition was carried out by Mr. Hasbullah Harun, a certified auditor from AEMAS and Mr. Muhd Muhtazam Noordin, a representative from Greentech Malaysia.

3. Briefly, the 7 aspects evaluated include:-

  • Management – formulation of energy management policy dan target setting,
  • Organization – formation of committee and appointment of energy manager,
  • Process – report/analysis of energy connsumption dan formulation of operating procedure,
  • Information – documentation and public announcement,
  • Financial – budgetting and investment,
  • Corporate Responsibility – adherence to energy regulations; and
  • Achievement – evaluation and management review.
