Launching Of BHEUU ICT Enculturation Programme 2014

PUTRAJAYA, June 18, 2014 - The Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) for the second time organized BHEUU ICT Enculturation Day. The launching held on Wednesday, 18 June, 2014 with three (3) competitions with ICT concept running concurrently - the PC Challenge (to assemble PC) at Dewan Harmoni, Crossword Puzzle and to Create Montage Online.
ICT Competition was held in order to familiarize and assemble the PC (PC Challenge), look for and acquire ICT knowledge through the Crossword Puzzle and using creative mind to Create Montage. Director General of BHEUU, YBhg. Dato' Ismail bin Ibrahim in his speech reminded all of BHEUU, JBG and MdI officers and staff to understand and comply with the BHEUU ICT Security Policy version 2.0, which came into force in January 2013.
The winners of each competition will be announced during BHEUU Monthly Assembly in July 2014.

Retiree Appreciation and Excellence Service Award 2012 Ceremony Legal Affairs Divisions, Prime Minister Department |
BHEUU, Putrajaya – Legal Affairs Division held a Retiree Appreciation and Excellence Service Award ceremony for 2012 at Dewan Harmoni, Level 2, Legal Affairs Division building on 17 April 2013. The event was graced by YBhg. Dato’ Hj. Ismail bin Ibrahim, Director General of Legal Affairs Divisions.
A total of 23 retirees had received a souvenir and 138 Civil Servants from BHEUU, JBG and MdI have been selected to receive the Excellent Service Award for the year 2012. Well done and congratulations to all.

BHEUU, Putrajaya –Bahagian Hal Ehwal Undang-Undang (BHEUU), Jabatan Perdana Menteri telah mengadakan Majlis Jasamu Dikenang dan Majlis Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang untuk Tahun 2012 pada 17 April 2013. Majlis yang bertempat di Dewan Harmoni, Aras 2 BHEUU telah disempurnakan oleh YBhg. Dato’ Haji Ismail bin Ibrahim, Ketua Pengarah BHEUU.
Ketua Pengarah BHEUU juga telah menyampaikan cenderahati kepada 23 orang pesara dan bakal pesara dan 138 Sijil Penghargaan serta Sijil Simpanan Premium bernilai RM1000 kepada 138 orang penerima APC 2012. Tahniah dan Syabas diucapkan kepada semua.

Team Building Programme (1st Series) : 1 Spirit 1 Team |
PULAU PANGKOR 26TH APRIL 2013- Team Building Programme (1st Series) : 1 SPIRIT 1 TEAM was held successfully at Palma Beach Resort, Teluk Nipah, Pulau Pangkor, Perak from 24th until 26th April 2013. A total of 37 participants comprising supporting staffs from BHEUU, MdI dan JBG have been selected to take part in this programme which been conducted by the facilitators from KesanMas Resources.
This Team Building Programme is organized to create positive stimulation and motivations within personnels of department to be more committed, proactive, responsive and innovative in upholding their responsibilities as well as to strenghthen the relationships among staffs of BHEUU, MdI and JBG.

Environmental Quality Certification Audit Practice 5S |
PUTRAJAYA, January 28, 2014 - Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) has conducted 5S Certification Audit in BHEUU which starts at 9.30 am to 12.15 pm. Due to the commitments given by all staffs especially the management authority, head of the sectors secretariat, BHEUU has successfully fulfilled the requirements of the certification from MPC.

BHEUU MONTHLY ASSEMBLY, FEBRUARY 2014
PUTRAJAYA, FEBRUARY 5, 2014 –The monthly assembly of the Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) held today was commemorated by the Director General, Dato’ Haji Ismail bin Ibrahim’s speech. In his speech, he conveyed his hope and aspirations that 2014 will see what has been achieved by the nation thus far, sustained for the good of the people. He also reminded everyone to be fully committed and to contribute towards the government’s goal to expenses in accordance to the eleven-steps recently announced by the Prime Minister. It is the Director General’s hope that BHEUU along with MdI and JBG will strive and work together towards supporting the government in its effort.

BHEUU MONTHLY ASSEMBLY, MAC 2014
PUTRAJAYA 6 MAC 2014 – The monthly (March) assembly of the Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) took place on March 6, 2014. Puan Siti Zawahir Mohamed, Director General of Legal Aid Department (JBG) in her speech urged BHEUU, JBG and MdI to perform any task given with full of enthusiasm, perseverance, persistence and passion in order to ensure the employers and organization achieve their goals successfully. She also said that each employee must take an active role to accomplish their task deliberately and should think forward to nourish value added mechanisms in our organization.
She hoped that all employees of BHEUU, JBG and MdI should provide services in accordance to Core Services with full responsibility to enhance the quality, goodwill and friendliness.

BHEUU ASSEMBLY OF THE MONTH APRIL 2014
PUTRAJAYA, April 3, 2014 – The Legal Affairs Division’s assembly for the month of April was held on 3 April 2014. Yang Berbahagia Puan Haslina Mansor, Director General of Malaysia Department of Insolvency in her speech expressed that Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU), Legal Aid Department (JBG) and Malaysia Department of Insolvency (MdI) officials and staff must ensure that work plan which was made at the beginning of the year is executed in accordance with the time frame set and achieve the goals. Yang Berbahagia Puan Haslina Mansor also said that an accurate action plan should be established in order to address the challenges and constraints to determine the successful execution of the plan as well as achieve the desired outcomes. In order to ensure work plan to be successfully implemented, all officials and staff of BHEUU, JBG and MdI must instill a sense of responsibility and accountability towards their work.
Yang Berbahagia Puan Haslina Mansor hopes that BHEUU, JBG and MdI enhance cooperation and commitment towards a common vision of which without this cooperation, it is difficult for the departments under BHEUU to achieve the 2014 planning that was successfully formulated.

A VISIT ON BENCHMARKING OF 5S PRACTICE
PUTRAJAYA, 16 April 2014 – The Committee Member of 5S Practice BHEUU held a Benchmark Visit to the Housing Loan Division, Treasury Malaysia (BPP) on 16 April 2014 (Wednesday). The arrival of the delegation was welcomed by the Head of Policy and Strategic Planning Section cum Coordinator of 5S Practice in BPP, Mr. Rashidi Baba along with his team.
The specific focus of the visit is to witness the implementation of BPP’s filing system which being their utmost effectiveness and excellence in creating quality environment and service delivery system. The visit is also embarked to strengthen the ties between BHEUU and BPP in executing 5S practices within the departments. Aftermath the visit, the committee will be able to apply the knowledge they have obtained in their sector to cultivate the spirit of mutual excellence.

PUTRAJAYA 22 APRIL 2014 – Service Excellent Award And Retirees Recognition Ceremony Legal Affairs Division, Prime Minister’s Department was held on the 22nd April 2014. The Ceremony was officiated by YB Hajah Nancy Haji Shukri.
The Service Excellent Award And Retirees Recognition Ceremony was held to recognise 16 officers from BHEUU, 37 officers from Legal Aid Bureau and 89 officers from Malaysia Department of Insolvency who had shown high level of service excellence in carrying out their duties throughout 2013. The ceremony was also held to recognise the contribution of 16 senior officers who will retire this year.

SELANGOR, APRIL 28, 2014 – A workshop on Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 [Act 711] to Local Authorities Central Zone was held on April 28, 2014 at Judicial and Legal Training Institute, Bangi, Selangor. The workshop was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Ismail bin Ibrahim, Director General of the Legal Affairs Division, Prime Minister’s Department. The 3 days-workshop involving local authorities of Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu was held in preparation for the local authorities to implement the act.

BHEUU’S MAY 2014 ASSEMBLY
PUTRAJAYA , MAY 8, 2014 – In his speech, the Director General of BHEUU, Dato’ Haji Ismail bin Ibrahim urged all from BHEUU, JBG and MdI to be more responsive towards the ever-changing situation. He proposed an analogy of a motorcycle where a slight twist on the throttle is all we need to accelerate.
Apart from that he emphasized the need for new ideas to enhance organization’s performance of which he advised everybody to do self-reflection on one’s contribution for his or her department. According to him, this exercise is also to be carried out by those who about to retire or get transferred.

BENGKEL KUMPULAN INOVATIF DAN KREATIF (KIK)
PUTRAJAYA, 5 Mei 2014 – Bengkel KIK BHEUU telah diadakan di Dewan Harmoni, Aras 2, BHEUU pada 5 hingga 6 Mei 2014. Bengkel ini telah dianjurkan oleh Unit Inovasi, BHEUU. Seramai 50 orang peserta yang terdiri dari Pegawai dan kakitangan BHEUU telah menghadiri bengkel ini. Pemudahcara adalah En Jayaselan A/L Navaratnam dari Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan. Objektif bengkel ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemahiran dan pengetahuan serta memahami keperluan KIK secara holistik agar para peserta KIK dapat memantapkan kemahiran dalam mengenal pasti projek dan penyediaan dokumentasi KIK yang lebih berkualiti.

BHEUU 5S INTERNAL AUDIT MEETING NO. 1/2014
PUTRAJAYA, 16 MAY 2014 – BHEUU 5S Internal Audit Meeting No. 1/2014 was held on May 16th 2014. 5S Internal Audit was carried out to monitor 5S activities in BHEUU as well as to ensure 5S is implemented and practiced every day in our workplace. A few aspects of 5S which was focused on during the audit were office space, 5S Corner, File Room, Store Room, general office space and office environment. Generally, BHEUU staff have shown great enthusiasm and commitment during the internal audit.

MHandover Of Local Network (LAN) Consolidation Project Of The Courts Of Sabah And Sarawak |
Cyberjaya, 27 May 2014 – The handover ceremony of Local Area Network (LAN) Consolidation Project of the Courts of Sabah and Sarawak to the Chief Registrar’s Office, Federal Court of Malaysia was graced by the Director-General of BHEUU, YBhg. Dato' Haji Ismail bin Ibrahim at Cyberview Lodge Resort and Spa, Cyberjaya. The project which was awarded to Kayangan Cahaya Sdn. Bhd (KCSB) involved a total of 26 courts of Sabah and Sarawak. In his opening speech, the Director-General of BHEUU expressed his hope that this project would help to strengthen the implementation of the e-Justice in all the courts, further assists the Courts in giving the best service to the community and enhance the status of the national judiciary.

PUTRAJAYA, June 5, 2014 - Hon. Madam Siti Zawahir binti Mohamed, Director General of the Legal Aid Department reminded all residents of BHEUU, JBG and MdI during monthly gathering today that hard work would bring success. Persistence is the ability to survive in the midst of stress and difficulty, opposition and resistance to achieve the goals and targets set.
She continued and added that the essence of perseverance is knowing what is important to us (the target), always remind yourself of the target, continuing to elevate motivation, endless effort to foster perseverance until the job is completed, be wary of own fear, ability to set and meeting the deadlines, and create awareness that there should be no failure. She concluded by saying that success comes from efforts made continuously. The drive from the heart, mind and effort will yield the desired results.

PUTRAJAYA December 12, 2013 - BHEUU December assembly was held on 5th December, 2013. YBhg. Puan Rohana Abd Malek, Director General of Malaysia Insolvency Department in her speech is to remind all BHEUU, JBG and Mdl employees to improve and pursue consensus as well as synergies appropriately to protect the interests of internal employees particularly and publics in general.
According to her also, all activities and programs especially those involves Publics must be carefully planned so that they are not just receiving services but also satisfaction and happiness through the service delivery system. Due to this, coordination between self-interests and duties should be done through well planned leaves. This also can help to effectively execute job tasks and family responsibilities will not be neglected at the same time. A job task will be something fun if carried out with sincerity.

PENYERTAAN WARGA BHEUU, MdI DAN JBG SEMPENA SAMBUTAN KEMERDEKAAN NEGARA KE -55
KUALA LUMPUR– Perbarisan sempena Ulang Tahun Ke 55 Kemerdekaan Negara di Dataran Merdeka dan Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil pada 31 Ogos 2012 tahun ini amat meriah dengan penyertaan 13 000 peserta pelbagai lapisan masyarakat berbilang kaum dan juga pelbagai sektor awam , swasta dan NGO.
Bagi sambutan kali ini, perbarisan dan perarakan Kontinjen Merakyatkan Perkhidmatan Awam sempena Sambutan Hari Kemerdekaan Negara Kali ke-55, Tahun 2012 mencipta sejarah apabila diketuai oleh KSN. PUTRAJAYA, 17 Julai 2012- BHEUU, JPM telah menerima lawatan daripada 35 orang ahli Kesatuan Pembantu Am Pejabat, Perkhidmatan Awam Semenanjung Malaysia, Cawangan Negeri Johor bertempat di Anjung Perdana Aras 10, Bangunan Hal Ehwal Undang-Undang. Lawatan tersebut bertujuan bagi mendapatkan penerangan mengenai peranan BHEUU, JPM selain mendapatkan informasi berkenaan Akta Perlindungan Pemberi Maklumat 2010.

SEMINAR PELAN TINDAKAN HAK ASASI MANUSIA KEBANGSAAN
KUALA LUMPUR, 25 MEI 2012 – Seminar Pelan Tindakan Hak Asasi Manusia Kebangsaan anjuran Bahagian Hal Ehwal Undang-Undang telah diadakan pada 24 dan 25 Mei 2012 di Institut Diplomasi dan Hubungan Luar Negeri, Kuala Lumpur. Seminar tersebut telah dirasmikan oleh YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri Tan Sri Abdul Aziz, Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri.
Seminar ini dihadiri oleh pegawai-pegawai dari Jabatan/Agensi Kerajaan yang mendapat pendedahan mengenai Pelan Tindakan Hak Asasi Manusia daripada penceramah-penceramah tempatan dan antarabangsa. Peserta-peserta berpeluang berkongsi pengalaman, pendapat dan pandangan dengan Dr. Rosette Gilda Librea dari Filipina dan Mr. Laurent Meillan dari Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights, Bangkok, Thailand serta penceramah-penceramah tempatan seperti Cik Shazelina Zainul Abidin (Kementerian Luar Negeri), Encik Andrew Khoo Chin Hock (Majlis Peguam Malaysia), YBhg. Datuk Dr. Denison Jayasooria (Institut Kajian Etnik, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia), YBhg. Dr. Mohd Azizuddin bin Mohd Sani (Universiti Utara Malaysia), dan Encik Abdul Rahim Sinwan (Persatuan Peguam Muslim Malaysia). Seminar ini turut melibatkan 3 orang moderator yang berpengalaman iaitu Encik Muhammad Sha’ani Abdullah (Pesuruhjaya SUHAKAM), Encik Nisar Muhammad bin Ahmad (Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia) dan Puan Dina Iman Supaat (Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia).

Taklimat kepada ahli-ahli CUEPACS telah diadakan pada 2 Mac 2011, Rabu, bertempat di Dewan Serbaguna Aras 2, Bangunan Hal Ehwal Undang-Undang, Jabatan Perdana Menteri. Objektif penganjuran taklimat tersebut antara lain adalah untuk meningkatkan kesedaran di kalangan ahli-ahli CUEPACS berkenaan perlindungan kepada pemberi maklumat di bawah Akta Perlindungan Pemberi Maklumat [Akta 711], masalah kebankrapan yang ditangani oleh Jabatan Insolvensi Malaysia (MdI), dan khidmat bantuan guaman yang diberikan oleh Jabatan Bantuan Guaman (JBG).
