Putrajaya, 10th June - YBrs. Puan Siti Zawahir Mohamed, Director General of the Legal Aid Department, said that harmony and unity are important in an organization. She said that whether we like it or not, self-interest should be set aside in order to maintain the harmony and unity of the organization to achieve success.
She added that weakness of human nature leads to arguments. Any obstacle in achieving unity in an organization is a negative act among employees.
However being respectful and responsible would foster unity. Therefore, unity should be instill in every employee because it is an affinity between each other. Although we are given the freedom of speech, employees should use it responsibly in order to disrupt the unity and excellence of an organization.
She said this during a monthly assembly here today.
