Lecture Programme- "Women's rights – before, during and after marriage" |
PUTRAJAYA, 10 Disember 2014 – A Lecture Programme namely "Women's rights – before, during and after marriage", organized by Bahagian Hal Ehwal Undang-undang (BHEUU) was held at the Dewan Harmoni, BHEUU. The talk was presented by Puan Noor Hadina Ahmad Zabidi, Deputy Director-General (Shariah), the Legal Aid Department.
The main objective of the talk is to discuss the issue of women's dilemma which will and has been felt by most women. Work and family issues are related to matter of sacrifices and time management. Some are able to plan it so well but some failed. Women in Malaysia just like in other countries, has a range of constraints and obstacles along the way. Mental and physical abuse, sexual abuse, husband married others and husband does not assisting financially are some of the common situations we hear happening which finally divorce be the solution to all problems.
It is estimated that about 100 officers and staff BHEUU, Legal Aid Department and Department of insolvency Malaysia attended the talk, including Mr. M. Kamroldin bin Hitam, Deputy Director General of BHEUU.
